Meet The Pastor
Pastors John and Cathy Mazza
John is the lead pastor of Family Worship Center. Born in Manhattan, raised in Queens New York City, he relocated at the age of ten years old with his father and younger brother. John graduated from Mainland Senior High School and went on to graduate from RHEMA Bible College in Tulsa OK. John has served as a youth worker for 11 years before being a youth pastor for over 19 years. He served as a music minister for over ten years and led with praise and worship for over 20 years. John and Cathy stepped in as lead pastors in May 2017. John has a fantastic heart of believing the very best of people and seeing what God sees in them. He believes with every fiber of his being that “if you still have breath in your lungs, then God is not through with you!”, “You are created on purpose, with a purpose, and for a purpose.” He desires to see the people of Family Worship Center step into their true destiny, impacting the city of Port Orange, and the world with simply “Loving God and Loving People.” John and Cathy reside in Port Orange, Florida with their three children. They consider it an absolute honor to serve God, serve the people of Family Worship Center as the pastors.
