Interim Pastor Elaine Schoepf
Pastor Elaine Schoepf is a "not quite but almost" a Southern California native having lived here most of her life. Ordained in 1987 in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Pastor Elaine has served both UCC and DOC congregations in California and Hawaii. Contemplative prayer and energy healing are spiritual practices that move her. A student of music and theater and history, Elaine loves working and performing in living history productions like the Renaissance Faire. For fun she enjoys making glass and metal jewelry, gardening and spending time with her dogs.
