Meet The Pastor
Pastors Zachary Houghton
Zachary (Zack) Houghton was called to pastor FBC Greentown in June 2018. He married his wonderful wife Theresa in 2000. They have three children: Saris, Lilly, and Wesley. Zack is a U.S. Air Force veteran, a graduate of Ball State University, and went on to complete his seminary training at Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A., Pastoral Studies). He formerly served at Restoration Church Noblesville and Oak Park Baptist Church in Indianapolis. He has a burden and love for this part of Indiana, and is excited to see the Lord work through FBC Greentown to reach the community and beyond with the gospel. He has a passion to see the church shepherded and taught well, ever pointed to Christ; to reverently worship together by the means God has ordained; to grow in the application of knowledge and sound doctrine; and to heed the Great Commission in Greentown, the surrounding region, and through missions, to the very ends of the earth—all to God’s glory alone!
Zack, Theresa, and the family enjoy camping, baseball games, and exploring the great state of Indiana together. Zack also enjoys theology, history, games, and reading. Favorite authors include John Bunyan, Charles Spurgeon, R.C. Sproul, John Gill, P.G. Wodehouse, and Charles Dickens. He’s pretty self-conscious he had to write all this in the third person, and would like the chance to meet you and talk to you about more about FBC Greentown, how we’d love to have you visit, and how we might learn, build, and grow together!
