Senior Pastor Elliott Micha
Hi I'm Elliott the Senior Pastor of Outpouring Church. it is a pleasure to meet you if you're reading this page. I am young, but an old soul at heart. My specialties in ministry include apologetics (how to defend the christian faith) and the study of church movements across the world. Our church is an independent church. For years my wife and I felt led to start a church that focuses on both the power of the holy spirit and dynamic bible teaching. We are a church that believes in the gifts of the spirit (as long as they are operating decently and in order). We are ok with people dancing and flag waving (as long as it is done in the back of the sanctuary only). We believe in freedom, but are completely against anything extra biblical in nature. We are 100% against people getting slain in the spirit. As a church we do not believe in modern day apostles or prophets. I am a fan of: Saint Kiev, John Wimber, Brennan Manning, Saint Francis, Rich Mullins, Dallas Willard, and Augustine to name a few. I love church history. I believe strongly that as a church we must always understand the role of balance in our theology. We always want to have a good balance between the power of the holy spirit and the clear teaching of the word.
Outpouring Church was birthed after many years of praying over the southern side of San Clemente and seeing the clear need for a church in that specific area of town. The southern side of San Clemente is an area with a wide range of people groups. Our church exists to bring the message of the gospel to the people on the southern side of San Clemente. Our dress code is: dress however you would like. We officially start in October 2018. We would love to see you become a part of our church.
