Meet The Pastor
Pastor Edwin Jaqua
Edwin is a licensed local pastor who serves here and Wheeler UMC. He is seeking his MDiv. degree at Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY. He preaches topical sermons with orthodox, conservative, Biblical doctrine. He is very ecumenical and sometimes shares activities with the other churches in town. He has been married to his wife Pam for 15 years and they have a cat, Fergus.
Edwin welcomes all who come to our church and affirms the worth and dignity of all. After all, we were all created by God and are loved by him. Having said that, Edwin will not perform weddings for same gender couples and will not support individuals who claim to be homosexual and wish to enter the ministry. Those who admit gender confusion but hope for healing will be welcomed, counseled and supported wherever they see the Lord leading them. Anyone else who comes and feels called to participate in ministry in any role will also be supported.
Edwin and Pam both ride motorcycles and are members of the Christian Motorcyclists Association.
