Meet The Pastor
Brother or Pastor Will Jacobs
Personal Statement: (Brother Will Jacobs)
I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at the age of 34. On January 22, 1978 I was led to Jesus Christ by a Foreign Mission Board Pastor at Misawa Baptist Church, where I was baptized.
I was called into fulltime Christian ministry while serving in the Air Force. At the time God called me I was serving at Misawa AB, Japan. God used my military service to place me in churches of great need for workers to serve in the ministry. I was able to gain valuable experience in these many different churches that has prepared me to be a pastor of a church.
I have a deep passion for missions and for evangelism. I am a conservative preacher who believes in the inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God. The Baptist Faith and Message is my doctrinal statement.
Professional Experience:
During my time in the air force, God placed me in numerous churches in different countries as well as different states of the U.S. I was in ministry in Japan and Italy. I also was in ministry in San Antonio, Texas and Jessup, Maryland. It was during this period that I gained valuable experience working with and ministering to a diversity of people. This was valuable training that I would be able to use as a pastor.
Upon retiring from the air force I worked for the State of Georgia as a Juvenile Probation Officer for the Department of Juvenile Justice and served as bi-vocational pastor of Hebardville Baptist Church, Waycross, Georgia. Upon retiring from the State of Georgia I became full-time pastor and now enjoy being pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Madison, FL.
