Meet The Pastor
Darren is a teaching-pastor who has a heart for people. His desire is to see people grow in their relationship with God with messages that apply to our lives. A worshiper of Jesus who wants to pursue and encounter His presence and encouraging people to grow inwardly and outwardly.
A self-proclaimed military brat graduating from Hanau American High School, Hanau, Germany, Darren accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior when attending college in the panhandle of Florida. After graduating from the University of Central Florida (1999), Go Knights!, he taught school for fourteen years. Feeling the call of God on his life, he attended Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned his M.A. in Theological Studies (2010).
Married in June 2011 to Amy, they have a son Wil (September 2014). I enjoy traveling, eating fresh seafood, going to parks, museums, and the beach, watching sports, as well as meeting and spending time with friends and family.
