Meet The Pastor
Pastor Ken MacLeod
Ken lives in Scarborough with his wife Karen, their three amazing daughters, Anne, Emma, and Lily, and their part dog/part tornado, Bailey. Ken and Karen were part of a team of believers from First EFC in Westbrook that began reaching out to the Cape Elizabeth area, which resulted in a church, Community of Grace, being born in 2011. Gospel ministry in the Greater Portland area has resulted in several partnerships, the latest being the uniting of Community of Grace with First EFC in September 2018, with Ken becoming the senior pastor of the united church.
Ken was raised in Portland and Kennebunk and believed the gospel of Jesus Christ as a child. He pursued a calling to ministry as a member of Payson Park EFC (now Community of Grace), education at Gordon College in Wenham, MA and Columbia Biblical Seminary in Columbia, SC, and in a fifteen-year career as a truck driver. His passion is to equip the church to fulfill its mission to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ by engaging culture, facilitating community, and mobilizing believers to minister according to their gifts.
