Meet The Pastor
Pastor Randy H. Johnson
Pastor Randy and LindaSue Johnson have been in ministry for over 35 years. This October, they celebrate their fourth year as pastors of the Ickesburg Church of God.
The Johnsons originally hail from the state of Indiana but have come to love the mountains and the people of central Pennsylvania. Three of their four children reside with them in Ickesburg and one son and daughter-in-law live in Virginia.
Pastor Randy is committed to preaching and teaching the whole Bible as God's revelation of Himself to humanity. Through the Bible, we learn the principles of knowing God. Through knowing God, we can learn to really know ourselves and the truth about life in this world and in the world to come.
Sister LindaSue has been by Pastor Randy's side for 38 years. She is a source of strength, wisdom, compassion and love to her husband, family, and the women of the churches they have pastored together.
The guiding principle of the Johnson's ministry has been 1 Corinthians 14:26
"What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up."
