Meet The Pastor

Rev. Howard Travers, Jr.
A native of Salisbury, Maryland, Rev. Howard Travers was ordained in 1982. He received his Diploma of Broadcasting Education, Proficiency And Licensing from Columbia School of Broadcasting in Washington, D.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Practical Theology and Church Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. He received both his Master of Theology (MTh.) degree and his Master of Divinity (MDiv.) degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He is presently pursuing his PhD.
His career has included ministry leadership as a Worship Leader, law enforcement, correctional, and Hospice Chaplain, Pastor, Ministry Founder and CEO. He also worked (20) years in radio and television. He has been actively involved in a variety of organizations and ministries both locally and nationally. He has received numerous commendations from Governors, Senators, and other legislators for his criminal justice work both locally and abroad. He has ministered in Russia, Estonia, Jamaica, and throughout the United States.
His hobbies include traveling, writing, and reading. He and his wife, Dana, have been married since 1987. The Travers' reside near Salisbury.
