Meet The Pastor

“Welcome to the St. Martin’s Family...”
I take great delight in offering these words to visitors and new members of our beloved St. Martin’s. But really, they are words for long-time members as well...for every time we open our doors, in a sense, we are inviting you into the organic life that is the St. Martin’s Family – a wonderful place...with so much to offer.
I often describe St. Martin’s as a “family.” Here you will find people from every walk of life, in every stage of life – but what binds us, what “makes us” a family is not the differences we bring to the table, but our unity – our common and shared commitment to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and to His Body, the Church and its mission to make Jesus’ Good News of love and salvation for all those swallowed up by His amazing grace and love.
St. Martin’s is a very big place, with lots of things to do. Virtually every hour of the day, most days of the week, you will find energy, excitement, solace and community pouring out of the opportunities for worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, outreach and more. Our family prays together – we laugh, and weep together; we eat and celebrate; we sing, and listen, and comfort and support one another. We do all of this, however, not for our own sake’s but with the open and joyful purpose of making and growing disciples of Jesus Christ.
If you wish to become one of Jesus’ disciples, or if you are already a follower and want to continue to grow
in your faith – we invite you to join us as pilgrims on what our early Church forbears used to call, “The Way.”
Scripted in stone, above the main doors of our Church are the open arms of our Lord Jesus with the words, “Come unto me.” (Matthew 11:28) We stand with Him in offering those same words of welcome. So again, “Welcome to the St. Martin’s family!”
