Meet The Pastor

Rev. Catherine Allard
Catherine Allard, who goes by Pastor Cat, was born and raised in New Hampshire and earned her BA in English degree (with a minor in Social Work) from the University of New Hampshire in 1999. Her young adult years were exciting professionally, first working in Residence Life programs on college campuses, and then at the YWCA of NH - focusing on positive youth development, creating safe space for GLBTQIA youth, challenging harmful social norms, and exposing the unexamined nature of "isms" - especially sexism, heterosexism/homophobia and racism.
Catherine graduated from Andover Newton Theological School with an M.Div in 2014 and was unanimously approved for ordination pending call in the Hillsborough Association of the NH Conference of the UCC last November. She is a true generalist, with gifts in the areas of worship leadership, pastoral care, Christian education, and organizational leadership. In every ministry setting, Cat's accessibility, authenticity, emotional and spiritual depth and maturity, and great love have been affirmed as among her greatest gifts. Catherine has served faith communities in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
We are excited for you to meet Cat and she looks forward to meeting all of you and journeying with us.
