Meet The Pastor
Pastor Peter Sample
Born on Feb. 20, 1987 in Longview, Texas, I spent my childhood years in
Indiana. I was homeschooled throughout my elementary and high school years, and
I was taught the importance of a close family early.
My mother led me to Christ on a snowy winter Sunday when I was 5. She
showed me that I was a sinner and that Christ died to take the punishment for my
sin. Through high school, I doubted the love of God: how I, being such a great
sinner, could be accepted. I studied Romans, discovering who God is and the extent
of Christ’s sacrifice. In college, because of events and situations through which God
brought me, with the encouragement and validation of my pastors, I switched
vocations to pursue a life of ministry.
In my spare time, I enjoy curling up in a chair with a book. I also enjoy walks
in nature, woodworking, and maintaining cars.
