Pastor Dr. Thomas Atchison
OUR PASTOR
Dr. Tom Atchison, also known to many as Pastor Tom or PT, is Pastor of New Life Pentecostal Church and the Founder of New Beginnings of Tampa which includes emergency shelters and transitional living for homeless and Veterans.
Dr. Atchison has a Doctorate in Theology from Berean College, received the City of Tampa Hero of the year award from Bank of America, is on the board of directors for Mission Tampa an outreach of Seminole Heights Baptist Church, and is the Former Vice President, currently on executive board of directors for Hillsborough Opportunity for Progress and Equality (HOPE) a group of 30 congregations and mosques united to promote social justice in the Tampa area.
He has been the Pastor for 18 years of New Life Pentecostal Church in Tampa and uses all of his 35 years of experience in his Ministry and Crisis counseling.
