Lead Pastor John Kimball
Welcome! I'm so glad you're checking into Palmwood Church. My name is John Kimball and I'm the Lead Pastor and Planter, having moved with my family to Oviedo in October 2014. In addition to the work Jesus continues to do in my life, I am incredibly blessed to be the husband of Kathryn (since 1989) and the dad of Lauren, Josiah and Anna -- all of whom are now grown and serving Jesus through their own lives.
Palmwood Church is a family oriented church. Worship is contemporary but includes some of the great hymns of the faith. Our preaching is verse-by-verse, although we do some topical preaching on occasion. And this church family loves to pray and intercede for others. During our church planting adventure, we've seen God do some amazing things, open doors, and introduce us to some wonderful people. Every day we're looking for divine appointments -- and we're eager to see what God is doing in each life.
