Trinity UCC has a commitment to local, national and worldwide services. All are gifted by God and all are called. God grants persons varied talents and abilities and calls us all to serve in many ways. Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, MS - A group of volunteers travel to Biloxi for the purpose of providing work assistance in the ministry of Back bay. This institution has multiple outreach in their area and provide services to homeless and low income families. A major effort includes repair, rehab or new construction of homes. Our group will offer assistance where needed but a significant effort is expected in construction activities. This does not define any required skills of our group. All skills will be accommodated according to skill and need. Breakfast at Trinity - Each weekday, Trinity serves a free hot breakfast in our Fellowship Hall to anyone in the Wooster community. The menu features a weekly schedule of eggs, toast, pancakes, bacon, cold cereal, donuts and other goodies. On an average morning, we serve approximately 80 guests. The Breakfast Program is operated by a dedicated staff of volunteers. Contact the Church Office if you are interested in contributing your talents to this growing program. Esperanza Mission Trip - Trinity along with students from the College of Wooster travel to Tijuana Mexico to work with Esperanza International. Our volunteers labor together to help create homes for impoverished families. Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota - Learn to know and work with the Lakota Indians on this reservation, which is the poorest region in the U.S. We strive to "put back that which is broken" through the non-denominational group of Re-member. UCC Disaster Response - Disaster recovery work groups help with the rebuilding and repairing of homes for persons impacted by weather disasters and who's needs are "un-met." We have supported a long-term UCC presence on the Gulf Coast in both New Orleans, LA and Biloxi, MS as well as people in OH and WV. Volunteers from faith organizations have been the single greatest source of help in getting people back in their homes. You can be part of a recovery effort. We Also Support the Following Missions: Our Church's Wider Mission, CUE Seminaries, One Great Hour of Sharing, Hope Homes, Habitat for Humanity, People to People, United Church Homes, Back Bay Mission, Neighbors in Need, The Christmas Fund, Esperanza, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Our church serves as a meeting facility for numerous organizations.

BELIEFS

Our Church’s historic claim that God has given everyone dignity and worth is the reason that I am in the United Church of Christ. We could read a litany of UCC firsts. Throughout the generations, our church has joined the struggle for full inclusion of all people regardless of race, gender or disability. These values transcend the culture in which we live and move all of us along toward greater acceptance and freedom for all people. As we strive together to embrace and celebrate God’s love we also know that the struggle is not over. We trust that this “Covenant of Inclusion” will lead us more fully into the ministry of God’s extravagant welcome and grace for all people. Our Covenant seeks to truly extend God's grace to "all" people including our LGBTQ members, family and friends. Trinity UCC “Covenant of Inclusion” Embracing and celebrating the face of God in all people, Trinity United Church of Christ strives to welcome everyone without exception or exclusion into all aspects of the life of our church. Following the example of Jesus, we welcome people of any; age, economic status, ethnicity, family structure, gender, gender identity or expression, marriage status, mental or physical ability, race, sexual orientation, theological or political tradition. Whoever you are, you are worthy and welcome at Trinity. We invite you to join us as we seek to "Do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with our God."- Micah 6:8
