Through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word, we will bring each person into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Whereby, they will be reconciled to God spiritually, enlightened mentally, healed emotionally and physically, which will bring glory to God. Through the ministry of excellence, we - by faith and purpose - will reach our ministry objectives and take the gospel to the entire world.

The "Purpose" Church is a non-denominational church located in Minneapolis, MN. Our senior pastor is Bishop Terry D. Williams. We are a Christian based, Bible teaching church. Through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, our mission is to produce people of purpose, destiny, and faith.

BELIEFS
The “Purpose” Church offers worship experiences like no other simply because we create an atmosphere that welcomes the Holy Spirit, our members, and our special guests. This atmosphere is one that is:
Relaxing – There’s no need to “dress to impress” here. Whether it’s in jeans or sweats, we want you to come as you are. God is less concerned with your outward appearance and is more concerned about your inward condition. Therefore, that is our only concern.
Relevant – We believe it is extremely important to not only teach the Word of God to our members, but to teach our members how it relates to TODAY’s society, economy, and living conditions. We make certain to do this only with spiritual revelation and without distorting the Word of God.
Relational – We are not a church based on race, social status, or denomination. We consider ourselves ordinary people facing similar challenges. Therefore, we truly care and want to get to know all of our members, both inside and outside the walls of the church building. It is only then we are able to physically and spiritually rejoice, mourn, encourage, strengthen, and support our fellow brethren when the occasion causes for us to do so.
Refreshing – Romans 10:17 teachs us faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Hence, it is our mission to make sure you do not leave a worship service in the same condition you came! Whether it is a Sunday or Wednesday service you attend, we encourage you to leave your burdens at the altar and allow God to quince the thrist of your spirit through the receiving of His Word in your heart.
