Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor Dr. Lowell Warren
Dr. Lowell Warren has been in the ministry for the past 43 years. During this time he has served as Pastor of five churches in Texas and Louisiana and led the congregation to start two mission churches.
In 1997 he resigned his pastorate in Arlington (Texas) and went to work with the state convention working with churches and staff in transition. He is certified both by the Texas and the Southern Baptist Convention as a Transitional Pastor, which is his passion. Dr. Warren has led church growth conferences by helping them to understand themselves, as well as their community. He has served our Lord in five churches that he led through the transition process.
He has earned two undergraduate degrees, two master degrees and a doctorate in Theology.
He and his wife Peggy have two grown sons that are actively serving in their churches. And of course they are glad to talk with you about their five grandchildren.
Dr. Warren served as a resort minister at K-Bar RV Resort in Show Low for the Desert Pines Baptist Association, before becoming Transitional Pastor at Valley View SBC. He is also serving as Director of Evangelism and Missions for the Desert Pines Association.
