Our Mission
Out mission is to invite the Vallejo community into our church often. On the last two Saturdays of the month,. we serve lunch in our Fellowship Hall and transform this space into the Uptown Cafe.
The lunch is free to the community. We are in partnership with Wayside United Methodist Church in this endeavor. Other missions include but is not limited to: Nothing but Nets, s program that has been adopted by the Cal-Nevada Confernce of the United Methodist Church.

About First United Methodist Church, Vallejo
First United Methodist Church has a rich tradition and history in Vallejo. We are 160 years old this year. We welcome everyone to the love of God on their journey. We love children and are committed to being an affirming and nurturing church for children and youth. We encourage young families to come be a part of our congregation. We have a children's message each Sunday after which the children and youth are dismissed to their classes for learning about the special love of this community for God. The children are also given some structure around United Methodism.
