Pastor Charlie Marquez
Impact Church is lead by a team of pastors (currently there are two).
This is an intentional way of proclaiming Jesus as the Sr. leader of the church.
Charlie Marquez and Jeff Brown co-pastor Impact Church. Pastor Charlie is the founding pastor and Pastor Jeff was the first to commit to the vision of the new work. The two of them have co-labored together from the earliest stages in 2013.
Charlie Marquez has served in ministry for more than 20 years . During those two decades of ministry Charlie also planted a church in urban Long Beach CA, served as an associate pastor, Bible college instructor and has led international mission teams to Russia, South America and the Caribbean. He holds an MA in Theology from Liberty Seminary and an undergraduate degree from Biola University. Charlie also serves as the Los Angeles County Director for the New Breed Church Planting Network. As a bi-vocational minister, concurrent to his ministry, Charlie has held senior-level manager roles with several Fortune 500 companies. Today he lives in Whittier CA with his wife Julie and their sons Ethan and Zion.
Jeff Brown has also served in ministry for close to twenty years. He has lead youth and outreach ministries and has a heart for the Jewish community - being Jewish by nationality. Jeff has been involved in international missions in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. He also served on the leadership board of a local church and has led various other ministries. Besides co-pastoring the church, Jeff works in the film industry producing movie trailers such as the Spiderman Series. Jeff lives in Whittier with his wife Lynn where their adult children Alex, Christy, Ian and Sarah - and their grandchildren Levi and Isabella keep them busy.
