Meet The Pastor
Pastor Royce Couch
I was born to Archie and Nora Thornton on Feb. 21, 1937 Southwest of Calera, OK.
When I was 5 yrs old we moved to a farm East of Caddo, OK. I started to school at
Caddo the next year and went all 12 years there.
We attended Robinson Baptist Church which was a little country church where my dad served as a deacon and my mother was my first Sunday school teacher.
I was saved about a week after my 18th birthday.
I have a diploma in Pastorial Ministries.
I have often said I am just a country boy the Lord called to preach.
I believe the Bible to be the holy inspired word of God and preach it just that way.
You have heard the old saying beside every good man is a good woman and I have
one of those. Shirley and I have been best friends and she has been my wife for
57 years and we have been blessed with 3 children.
I realize I am past the age most people retire but I am not ready for a rocking chair
just yet.
The Lord has blessed me with good health and I want to go on serving Him until He tells me it’s time to quit.
