Meet The Pastor
Senior Pastor John C. Motley
Pastor John Motley is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He lives in the City of LaVergne, TN with his wife, Rev. Frankie. Pastor Motley is the father of five (5) children and grandfather of five (5).
Pastor Motley was a licensed deacon when God began to nudge him to preach the gospel. He accepted God's call on his life to preach the gospel in 1997 under the tutelage of Pastor Napoleon Harris.
As a servant leader he was Minister of Praise & Worship, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher and additionally served in many other administration ministries (i.e. Prison Fellowship, Cuyahoga Boys Home, etc.).
In 2002, Pastor Motley and his family moved to Nashville, TN where they joined with Cleveland Street Baptist Church. There he preached as God gave him opportunity and served in the Men's Ministry.
Hearing God call him to the next level of ministry for him, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit Pastor Motley planted Faith Tabernacle Community Church (a.k.a. Faith Tabernacle Church).
His motto for Faith Tabernacle is to lead God's people in growing in their faith, sharing their faith and living by faith!
