Meet The Pastor

Chris Larmoyeux
Pastor Chris Larmoyeux
Chris Larmoyeux grew up in Little Rock, graduated from Central Arkansas Christian, and went to Arkansas State University to play baseball. While at ASU, the Baptist Student Union (BSU) and Central Baptist Church were very influential in his life, and he met his wife Tonya. God clarified Chris’ calling during his post-college years while he was Student Minister at Highland Drive Baptist Church, a teacher/coach, and then a pharmaceutical sales rep, before he headed to seminary. Chris has served as a BCM Campus Minister for the last six years with Arkansas Baptist State Convention- first at the UA Fort Smith campus, and currently at the University of Central Arkansas. He holds a BSE in Speech Communication from Arkansas State University, a Master of Divinity in Christian Apologetics and Biblical Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership and Administration from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris & Tonya have been married for almost 14 years, and have three children: daughters Kinley (age 11), Kaci (7), and son Cade (9). They enjoy doing ministry together and live in Maumelle, where Tonya is a teacher at Academics Plus Charter School. Chris is passionate about preaching and teaching God’s Word, engaging people with the Gospel, equipping disciples, and mobilizing God’s people to live out and spread the Gospel locally and globally. He enjoys family-time, sports (anything competitive), the outdoors, playing guitar, history, and has a particular taste for real beef jerky, ice cream sandwiches, and good laughs.
