Meet The Pastor
Interim Pastor Kingston Tong
Reverend Kingston Tong trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1966. He received his calling vocationally to serve the Lord in 1972 while at Multnomah Bible College.
He graduated from Multnomah Bible College in 1973 with an emphasis in Christian Education and from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1992 with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry. He served as pastoral intern at Dallas Chinese Fellowship Church from 1988-1992. After graduation, he accepted a call to serve as the English Pastor at Chinese Christian Church of New Jersey from 1993-2000. Finally, he served as the English Pastor at Golden Gate Christian Church in San Francisco from 2003-2010, before retirement.
Rev. Tong’s giftings are in pastoring, teaching and administration. His is passionate about caring for people and seeing them grow in the Lord. As a member of the leadership team, he brings extensive ministry experience in shepherding, training, and growing a church. In addition, he provides stability, insight, and encouragement to the other team members.
He and his wife, Ramona Tong, have two children, five grandchildren, and reside in Garland, TX.
