Our Mission

Our Mission To encourage, equip and empower people to become mature disciples of Jesus Christ so that they may fulfill their ministry in both the church and in the world. To honor God, build strong families, and love people. Our Purpose Outreach and Evangelism And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15) We will continually focus on reaching out to non-Christians in the Greater Phoenix Area and beyond with the redeeming love and restoring power of God. Discipleship and Equipping Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. (John 8:31)

About Spirit of Faith Family Church

Spirit of Faith Family Church is an Independent, Non-Denominational, Spirit-filled Church in Scottsdale and Phoenix Border We want to thank you so much for visiting our website and believe you will be touched by what you see. It seems in this season of the church many things have changed and when God spoke to us about starting Spirit of Faith, He instructed us to be direct in our actions and words. What do I mean by this? Our desire is to create a place where God can move and be God. We need to experience the hand of God again in our church services. The gifts of the spirit and the move of the Holy Ghost is essential in this hour we live. We must become aware of the clock of God and know He is not only seeking a place to visit but a place to inhabit. Our desire is for you to have a true encounter with a real God in a Spirit Filled Christian Church that desires to unfold His destiny to you so you can fulfill His plan for your life. Without the move of God and hand of God to touch us we will stand before Him on that Day when time ends without giving back to Him what He has placed in our trust. We want Spirit of Faith to be a place of habitation for the presence of God to abide and we desire to create that place for Him so that He can change you forever! David said in Psalms 27:3-4 “Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord (in His presence) all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple.” Whatever may be your need or season in life, if you don’t already have a home church, we invite you to come and be a part of our family of believers who love God, love His people and the world. God Bless You! Pastors Randy and Nancy McCutcheon

Women's Ministry: Pastor Nancy has a strong desire to see women reach their full potential. Knowing who they are in Christ will change a women's life in every area. Knowing what the Word of God says will bring success. God is saying, Look in the mirror of The Book (The Bible) and begin to see yourself as Jesus sees you. The Women’s Ministry is designed to enhance lives through special meetings, prayer groups, fun, and fellowship. The vision of the Women’s Ministry at Spirit of Faith Family Church is threefold. It is our desire to see you: Become rooted in a personal, loving relationship with Jesus. Have a better understanding of yourself and your purpose in life. Develop personal relationships with other women and allow for a friendly, non-threatening environment that will allow you to introduce non-believers to a church setting. Annual Events During the year we have a variety of events and programs in which women can become involved. Some of these include: Women’s Breakfast Holiday Craft Retreats Fashion Shows Welcome to a safe place, where you can be refreshed, be healed, be happy and be whole!

BELIEFS

THE GODHEAD – The triune Godhead is comprised of three separate and distinct persons. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (also called the Holy Ghost), who are eternal, self-existent, self-revealed, and function as one. Jesus Christ, who is God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and Holy Spirit. (Phil. 2:6; John 1:1, 1:14, 14:16, 15:26). THE SCRIPTURES – The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as the Holy Spirit moved them. We accept the Word of God as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. (II Timothy 3:16; I Thess. 2:13; II Peter 1:21) REDEMPTION – We are created beings, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to destroy the works of the devil and gave His life and shed His blood to redeem mankind back to God. (Romans 3:10, 3:23, 5:14; I John 3:8) Salvation is the free gift of God to man, separate from works and law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing good works acceptable to God. (Ephesians 2:8) ETERNAL LIFE AND THE NEW BIRTH – The new birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced, produces eternal life. (II Cor. 7:10; I John 5:12; John 3:3-5) The first step to personal salvation is to accept the supreme sacrifice that Jesus made for all. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10) WATER BAPTISM – Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. This ordinance is a symbol of the Christian identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8:35-39) BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST – We believe the baptism in the Holy Ghost is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This evidence is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance. We also believe in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers. (Matt 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38-39, 19:1-7) DIVINE HEALING – We believe healing is provided for in the atonement of Jesus Christ. Healing is God’s will for the mental, spiritual, and physical ills of mankind and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-15; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5) SANCTIFICATION – The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe that the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, beginning with the new birth and continuing throughout one’s life. (Heb. 12:14; I Thess. 5:23; II Peter 3:18; II Cor. 3:18; Phil. 3:12-14; I Cor. 1:30) ETERNAL RETRIBUTION – We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal redemption of the saved – forever in the presence of the Lord; and the eternal punishment of the lost – forever separated from the Lord. RETURN OF THE LORD – We believe in the soon coming and eminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time of the rapture, “…the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we (believers) which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the cloud, to meet the Lord in the air…” (Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16-17)
