About Frankfort Baptist Church
The Bible says we are all sinners. Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". The punishment for sin is death (an eternity in Hell). Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.". Jesus paid that punishment for us on the cross. Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.". You only need to believe and receive this gift. Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.". Nothing you can do saves you. Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus is the only way to get to heaven. John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
