WDM Open Bible has been Loving God and People well, in the West Des Moines/Valley Junction area for over 80 years. While our look and methods have changed over the years we are still dedicated to continuing the mission of Jesus: to bring Good News to the poor. to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and hope Restored to the Hopeless.

Our Core Values are
Simple- The message of Jesus and a life reflecting Jesus should be simple enough that a child can follow it. We try to keep everything simple and not overcomplicate things as humans like to do.
Empowered - We believe life is best lived through the power of the Holy Spirit, and with the Holy Spirit we can do supernatural things and have a part in the Kingdom of God.
Christlike - We believe that the Church's main goal should be to reflect Jesus. The Church has not done a great job at that in recent times and we have been sent to do our best to change that.
Community - We believe that we were made for community and that church is best experienced and lived out in community.
