About Hope Bible Fellowship
Connect, Learn, Grow, Serve, & "Go!" These five words describe our discipleship pathway, what we aspire for everyone who is on a journey of faith and discovery. In other words, we don't believe that the end game of church is to get people in the seats, but to help them discover and connect with God and the grace he extends through Christ Jesus. God's grace must not be separated from his sanctifying power, so we want to help you enter into connected relationships with others as well, and as a community committed to one another and committed to being life-long learners who are growing and spiritually maturing, engage in personal ministry and community service, and those who reach out to others with the good news of God's grace and the reality of Christ's love. Whether on Sunday morning celebrations, in small groups, one on ones or less formal connections, our goal in connecting and learning is to help you find your stride, your sweet spot of Christian living and service as fully faithful followers of Christ, and do so in the company, community, and faithful fellowship of others called Hope. We invite you to stop by and check us out, with the hope that you might join us in our journey to fulfill the mission the Lord has given us in the place where he has planted his church.
We believe the faces of the local church should look a lot like those you see in your local grocery store, so expect to find a family friendly community of faith that is welcoming of all, and reflects some of the diversity of our surrounding community. We are God's family reaching families with the life changing reality of Christ's love, aspiring to reflect the many faces of our changing demographic. Our children's, youth and adult ministries are structured around small groups that we might help people safely explore their spiritual questions and discover the living God, through faith in Jesus Christ. It is our desire that everyone learn and grow in their faith, and as they mature spiritually, begin to serve the Lord inside/out. Inside through the in-house ministry of the church, to the church; outside meaning serving God outside of the church facility where we worship as God's image bearers who love and serve your neighbors unconditionally, yet missionally. We are evangelical in our doctrine (ref. to our website at www.hopebiblefellowship.org for specific doctrinal distinctions); in governing structure we are "free", i.e. an independently governed, elder led, congregational local church that is affiliated with an association of independent churches called the Evangelical Free Church of America churches.
We serves Williamson County TX in the Brushy Creek area of at the intersection of western Round Rock, North Austin, and eastern Cedar Park. If you are someone looking for a safe place to explore spiritual questions, this a good place to come and explore. If you are a missionally minded Christ follower who doesn't want to sit on the sidelines, but wants to connect with God and others to help build a rebuilding church, and grow his Church in an area where only 11 percent of the people value worship of any kind, then this may be the place where He is leading you.
