I was born on the mission field in Australia, then moved to South Africa when I was 8 years old. I grew up under the leadership of two amazing parents who lived out the Gospel through their consistent love and sacrifice. But along the way I became deeply troubled by seeing how far the modern church had drifted from its original mission, and God turned that burden into a passion that literally altered the direction of my life. After 19 years of running a software development business, God redirected my course to start LifePoint Church in Greenville SC with my wife Sandy, our two children, and a handful of brave pioneers. Since those early days, God has done amazing things by impacting the lives of people in Greenville and around the world, with our podcasts listened to an average of 19,000 a month in more than 60 countries.
