I would like to introduce myself: My name is John Howard the Pastor of GCI here in Topeka. I want to give you some of my background. In 1967 I was baptized into the church and served as layperson until 1971 when I was ordained as a deacon and continued in that capacity until 2002. In 2002 I was ordained an elder and Bi-Vocational Pastor of the Topeka Church. I was born and educated in Lawrence, Douglas County KS and still reside there. My theological education and background: I have attended numerous seminars and classes along with having a Diploma of Christian Ministry from Ambassador College of Christian Ministry. Family, I am married to Nancy Sue Thomas Howard. We have one daughter Sandra Howard Lloyd who lives in Topeka. We also have five grandchildren and 5 great grand children of which one great granddaughter, Madison Snapp who lives with us.
