Rick and Marie Cheney have been involved with the church since 1973. Both have a musical background singing in church choirs and leading worship. At one time Rick directed the church choir. Rick’s working life was mostly spent in the jewelry business as a watch repairman and jewelry salesman, but he also worked as a disc jockey, played violin in the Kern Philharmonic Orchestra, and now edits the church Website. Marie continues her 35 year long nursing career now working as a Perinatal Safety Specialist and Assistant Nurse Manager at Marian Medical Center.
