Churches of Christ
The Churches of Christ is composed of independent Christian congregations in the U.S. and other countries. They share common beliefs and practices but they exist separately from one another. They practice what the New Testament Christians did, and they base their doctrine and practices solely on what is written in the Bible. They are strongly against the Calvinist doctrine of salvation and they practice water baptism by immersion. What distinguishes them from the Disciples of Christ is that they do not use musical instruments in their worship.
