Anglican Church of Canada
The historical connections between the Episcopal Church U.S. and the Anglican Church of Canada are very close as both take their founding from early English settlements. Both were formed after the Protestant Reformation but still had strong liturgical connections to the Catholic Church. The Anglican Church of Canada is the third largest denomination in Canada. Along with the fundamental beliefs of the Anglican/Episcopal church, the Anglican Church of Canada believes in diversity and are open to social change by allowing the ordination of women, re-marriage after divorce and gay unions.
