My family and I have been at Sylvania for nearly 9 years and could not be more thankful to be here. There has been and continues to be great effort at pursuing what Matthew Meade once called "light in the head and heat in the heart." The expository preaching of Phillip Dancy is tremendous, the content of the hymns and worship songs we sing is wonderfully biblically, dripping with the gospel, and fellowship is sweet, often resulting in folks hanging around after for worship for up to an hour talking, laughing, praying, and, at times, mourning together. I've been encouraged to see increased involvement in local and foreign outreach that always includes, but is rarely limited to the proclamation of the gospel. In short, I could not recommend a church more highly. I'd love to have you join us.
