Visited in May 2015 and Dr. Martin's message was from book of Romans. A good practical and challenging sermon, and Dr. Martin is a good communicator. Worship was good, and from the bulletin and families I saw it looks like they have a lot to offer to families and children. VBS and youth camp in the summer. A ministry for Seniors and a college ministry. An established Baptist church in Frisco with a lot to offer people of every age. One ministry to the community is the "Upwards" sports program - a great Christian-based sports program open to youth in the city. Frisco youth sports can be VERY competitive, and Upwards is a refreshing experience for young people because the emphasis is on character and learning to love the game instead of pressure to win, win, win. In some younger ages in basketball for instance they do not keep score, and have a devotional at halftime of every game. In a fast-growing city, First Baptist Frisco is an established church and a place your family can call "home."
