Philadelphia was organized October 10, 1841. The 1st Trustees were Joe Yancey, Charlie Edington, and Henry Jordan. The records also show that Rev. G.H. Warn was the first pastor. Philadelphia has a long tradition of having an outstanding Music Ministry and being a community leader. At the time of this writing (March 2016)the membership is about 247 with about 90 % of the membership being family. There is an average of about 100 - 125 present on Sunday mornings. There is a very friendly spirit and an energizing worship experience. Anyone interested in solid Bible teaching/preaching, a powerful music experience, and being around some good folks - Philadelphia is the church for you.
