I love my church! We keep it simple. You aren't asked to signup for all sorts of programs because we don't have a ton of programming. We focus on the main stuff (Bible teaching, fellowship, worship, prayer, and communion), and that gives me the margins in my life to spend time with Jesus and to minister to others right where God has me (family, work relationships, neighbors, etc...). Don't gewt me wrong, we have opportunities to serve, but you won't get burnned out here. This is a good place to grow closer to Jesus and in Christian maturity.
