About Omega Tabernacle, Dalton OH
We are a full Gospel Church. We are a non-denominational church and believe in the sovereignty of the local assembly. We believe the local assembly is to be led by the leading of the Holy Spirit. We adhere to Gospel truths found in the Bible.
We know that living a Holy life is paramount to living a Christian life. But the Bible tells us that we were all conceived in sin and shaped in iniquity (Psalms 51:5). We had no choice in the matter. So how can anyone live a Holy life?
I tell people this, "We were all born in sin and shaped in iniquity. I don't care what you have done, or will do, you can't make it any worse than where you began."
Being born lost and condemned to die sounds pretty dim and dreary. But a silver lining appears in those dark clouds of doubt and a lovely scripture comes to mind. The Bible tells us that He chose us (and you) even before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-9). Think of how that is worded. He "chose" us. The omnipotent Creator, in his foreknowledge, knew you would be where you are right now, reading this. You and I cannot achieve this Holiness or keep ourselves from perishing without the Grace of Almighty God no matter how good we try to be. It is only by the Blood of Jesus Christ that we are cleansed of our sin (1 John 1:6-7).
2 Peter 3:9 says it so wonderfully this way: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
He is willing and calling ALL to come to repentance (Acts 2:38), and He is "faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."(1 John 1:9)
And finally, I wish to bring your attention to this verse in Ephesians 4 on how we believe we should treat one another:
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
May our Heavenly Father and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, bless you, today.
