BEWARE!
It's a very small community for many reasons, namely the rabbi and his wife.
At first they’re very welcoming, but after some time you’ll see how they’re excessively controlling and judgmental.
The rabbi and his wife live in Maine, Joe and Denise, and they're the main problem because they’re the owners of the property, and what they dictate is the end all and be all with the going ons at Beit B’Rachot. Communist dictator rule.
Furthermore, while they don’t directly teach entire rubbish, they casually make mention enough times of all sorts of unscriptural rubbish, such as a PRE-garden civilization before Adam and Havah, and/or two separate paradise like chambers where all of the dead go and continue to live interactively among each other until judgment day. HOGWASH!
But what IS most insensitive and offensive were the inappropriate, offensive and ungodly comments from the rabbi and his wife about those who serve there. For example, after a quite pleasant and worshipful praise and worship service, the rabbi immediately commented to the praise team while they were exiting the stage "The Ruach ha’Kodesh wasn't happy with the praise team today". What a rude and inappropriate thing to say, let alone to say it publicly in front of the entire “small” community! To my knowledge, he never clarified what he meant by that public remark.
If you decide to visit, be prepared to not start on time, especially when the rabbi is there, as he regularly starts forty-five minutes to an hour late with no regard for those who arrived on time. Furthermore, be prepared to be there all day from 11:00 to 5:00, and if you leave early or challenge him with regard to his teachings, be prepared to be blown off publicly and told you're wrong and he’s right without being provided any scripture.
And on occasion the rabbi will hold a pre-service secret discussions with the community, where the online broadcast is muted and he spreads gossip about attendants and alleged secret happenings that he heard about and doesn’t approve of regarding his community. For example, one meeting he claimed someone was secretly smoking marijuana, but he didn’t clarify exactly why or who, or how he came to such knowledge. Quite frankly, the rabbi might have even made it up, as well as other things just to see and gauge the reaction of individuals. Even if it was true, there’s a process of handling it honorably and in accordance with scripture, and if he attempted those process’s already without the fruit of repentance, then it’s time to announce the name of the individual and his sin to the community. That’s the biblical process. Despite that I don’t agree with casual use of marijuana, I don’t believe there’s anything that forbids it from a biblical perspective.
The mental illness of "paranoia" comes to mind with regards to the rabbi and his wife.
Lastly, if you decide to visit, be prepared to learn and practice "RELIGION", as that's exactly what the rabbi and his wife do and what they want, and they want everyone to conform to his own hypocritical and Pharisaical rules. And for God's sake, don't even think about confronting him about it if you want to keep attending there, because he'll have a literal tantrum, and then you'll be labeled by him as a trouble maker and told to leave. And after you're gone, yep, he'll likely hold a special unbroadcasted meeting in secret to slander you behind your back, and even twist scripture entirely out of context in order to put a spin on it to his favor. I've seen him do it to quite a number of good people who have come and gone from that brain washing Pharisaical institution. Just turn around and RUN!
BEWARE!
I can go on and on about things I saw and heard there, but it would only be redundant.
The community members are sweet and wonderful and kind people, but the rabbi and his wife make it a HORRIBLE experience!
