I've remained publicly silent about the issues between my Husband & the CEO of this organization.
It began almost a year ago, we (my husband and I) took a trip as a "Yay we got out of the USMC" as well as visit family and go to lots of church events. We were gone for about 3 months. When we got back everything was different. The leadership & atmosphere was different...it was unreal. We had been in leadership positions before we left as well as when we got back. I also was part of the praise team. We had been a part of this church for about 2 years.
I truly felt the issues we were having could've been solved in a loving & christian way. Maybe a HUMBLE & LOVING phone call or even a visit to our house were we could have sat down & talked. Instead the CEO decided to severely escalate the situation by trying to have my husband arrested for trespassing when we went for Wed service in the hopes of being able to rectify the situation after the service ended. This lead to much sadness & disappointment. I never would have expected a man who is supposed to be a man of God use the law as a tool to have power over someone else or even literally ASK the cops to arrest him. My mind was blown.
A few months later, because my husband tried to tell the church what was going on like Jesus said to, he was served court papers for a no contact order. The CEO is so controlling and possessive he tried to have a restraining order for himself & "his church" (his words).
Now maybe a month later, my husband once again was served court papers. The only difference is this time it is for violating the no contact order, which he didn't do, and is faced with jail time. My husband had sent out a review on the church's facebook page & other places. Hoping that he could warn others about this place. In his review he cited some scriptures in Ezekiel 3:17-21 & ch.33 & ch.34. These were taken so far out of context by the CEO & one of our old FRIENDS who took it so far as to threatened us. Our "friend" threatened to come to our front door if he posted the review. Then he threatened to take my husband to court and do whatever he could to have him locked up in jail.
I am appalled that the CEO continues to act as if he is completely ignorant in the situation, & continues to seemingly encourage people to be "frightened" by us and what we say & do. Our friends have turned their backs on us because of this man & what he has filled their heads with. One of my best friends blocked my husband without saying a word to us.
Based off what I have personally witnessed in my time there & through all of this I believe this church is an example of the blind leading the blind. This place, though there may be some who are sincerely seeking after Truth as we are, is not a place where I would want anyone to attend. I am SO disappointed I was a part of this church for so long. The CEO based off of his fruits alone, is nothing but a wolf in a clown suit. He acts like a child or a comedian who is up there only to entertain you, to talk about himself & his hunting or fishing trips. This is not the fruit of a man of God. A REAL man of God is humble, loving, kind, & much more. He does NOT manipulate the law to fight his battles. He is a servant of God & acts as such, not like a jester.
If you are someone who is looking for a church that worships JESUS, the MESSIAH, then I suggest you dive as deep as you can into what Jesus taught with the mindset of obeying HIM. Then do what He says to do, and HE will lead you in your life & you will find exactly what you need.
This place has nothing to offer for anyone sincerely seeking the Truth except for an example of what not to follow. Please understand I write this out of concern for others who may go here as it is my christian duty & I say all of this out of a loving & sad heart. I pray that God will open the eyes of this man. That he will see what his actions have meant & what they have done. I hope God will open all of the eyes of those that go here.
