This is a great church to visit or make a church home. A couple of winters ago, my vehicle broke down at the local shopping area. it was very cold. My grandson and I tried to get out vehicle started to no avail. No one tried to help us. About an hour later a man, whom we later learned was Minister Simmons, pulled into the parking lot and asked if we needed any help. He said he heard us trying to start our engine aways down the road and decided he would check it out. Smile. I considered this a blessing from GOD, especially; after getting our vehicle started. He even let my grandson, who was 8 at the time, hold the flashlight and hand him tools. He invited us to church and gave us his business card. He did not ask us for anything in return for his help. To make a long story short. All of my grands and I went to visit this church. Upper Room Prayer House is an anointed place to be. It is a friendly and welcoming multiracial, multicultural church that believes in the WORD and WILL of GOD. They have an awesome chruch ministry for all ages. Every year Upper Room Prayer House host a Phophetic Revival with guest speakers from Illinois and other states. There are just too many good thing to write about this church.
