First Assembly Raytown was once a community of 250-300 people in a nearly all-white, middle-class suburb. The suburb has diversified, is now less affluent, and the churches of Raytown are changing. We're in the process of reviving the church, trying to become more a thriving community and less a religious country club. There are a few dozen people here committed to seeing the church shine again. We're definitely a church where it's "All Hands on Deck"! Whether it's using musical gifts, working with children's ministry, using audio/visual skills, or just looking for a place to be planted, this is definitely a church where you can get involved!
