We worship the one God of the bible in three Persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Repentance and Faith are absolutely necessary for salvation. Holy living is the fruit of a repentant sinners decision to trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Any form of fornication, including adultery, couples living together apart from marriage, prostitues, pedophilia, homosexual lifestyles, transgender and transexual activities, beastiality, or participation in pornography are all mentioned as sinful in the eyes of God. (9) “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sellers of themselves to mankind, (10) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (I Corinthians 6:9-10) But there is good news. God can and will deliver any such person from such sinful lifestyles who comes to Him in repentance and faith in Christ. 11” And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God”. (I Corinthians 6:11) We have ALL fallen short of God’s glory and requirements for heaven. (Romans 3:23) But He has made a way for “whosoever will” come to Him. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house.”(Acts 16:31) But sadly, many will not bow the knee to our God and Savior Jesus Christ who is the creator of all things. (John 1:1-3) “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) What is waiting for those who reject Christ? “Whosoever’s name is not found written in the Lambs Book of Life will cast into the Lake of Fire.” (Revelation 20:15) “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”(Jeremiah 29:13) Christ has put a light on at the corner of Southfield Rd. and High St. in the community of Ecorse. “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12) At ECBC, we desire the Will of God: Nothing more, Nothing less, Nothing else.
