Hi! I am pastor Eric Hanson. I was first attracted to Hosanna Church in 1974, when the church had existed for a few months, and I had been back in the Oxford Hills area for just a couple of months, from having attended Bible College out of State. The welcoming atmosphere and openness to the supernatural aspects of the Holy Spirit's ministry to people drew me in. I found that Jesus Christ meant more to me than ever before in such an atmosphere, as I witnessed people being healed in His name, and several who were delivered from addictions to smoking or other destructive things. I settled in as a member late that year. Nancy and I were married in early '76. We raised a family of 3 children, all now grown and married. (We have 6 grandchildren and 2 more on the way. :-) ) We became involved in running the Youth Group in '77, and also coordinating and adult small group in '80. In January of '82 I was ordained an elder of the church, and became a staff pastor in June of that same year. In mid '84, the other pastor and I became co-pastors, and we functioned that way until the and of 2015. (He is retired now and moved to Oklahoma.) I am now solo pastor, but that are many people who are the key volunteers here who make this church a place of love, ministry to all ages, and real growth in the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
