I’ve never been to this church, but I do know one thing about it….the fruits that come from it are amazing! I had the privelege of seeing many members of the congregation and the pastor in action, doing what they do, being kind, loving, generous people. They had a yard sale recently, and when they heard about my sister and her daughters recent tragedy, they came together and helped them greatly. They were actually trying to give more but I had to stop them because they had already helped so much. They didnt care that I’ve never put a dime in their collection plate, they didn’t care that I wasn’t from the city they are from, and they certainly didnt care that we didn’t come from the same race, like so many in this world do these days. They just knew that we were all God’s children, which makes us brothers and sisters. And they helped us in the same joyful spirit that Jesus did. I am so grateful to them and I’m so inspired by them to go out from this day forward and show the Christian love to others that they showed to us. If you are looking for a wonderful church in Alexandria, I can tell you that these are wonderful people, including the pastor who was there too. Very kind, good hearted people. I’ve never heard the preaching that goes on in this church, but it surely seems like whatever it is like, it must be lighting some hearts on fire to be kind, generous, loving, joyful, friendly, welcoming, and inspirational Christians. In my book, that’s far more important than a billion dollar church full of people who are only looking for personal gain and monetary gifts from the Lord. I would ride into judgement day in a church like this rather than anywhere else. Thank you generous ladies from Faith Baptist church. Your beautiful spirits are an inspiration. Please know that what you do makes a huge difference to others, and please never stop doing what you are doing.
