I have visited this church randomly over the past 5 years, looking for an LBGT friendly church where I felt comfortable. It seemed that close to 50% of the members were, in fact, members of the LBGT community and I was welcomed by some very nice people.
There was a female minister the first couple of times I attended, and she seemed to be ok. The next time I went there was another female minister who was also pretty good, but the crowd seemed diminished. I found out she was an interim minister and would not be there long. I later heard from a friend that she had left and was replaced by another minister who was also interim, but he was from the Baptist upbringing, as am I. Problem is, being raised Southern Baptist, I have some bad experiences in my teen years when I realized I was queer and had some trepidation about attending. Since COVID started they have hired a new minister and I checked it out by phone (they are having Zoom church) but did not want to be on camera. I wasn't really crazy about the sermons and the music was very hard to hear on my phone.
