Being an out of towner, I was looking to attend Mass. I found St. Augustine Catholic Church on 8/6/23. I received a warm welcome and felt the love of God among the people and the Pastor. Jesus presence was evident. I love going to Mass to hear the Gospel, listen to His teachings on how I am to live my life. The sermon aka: homily is always uplifting. The most important part of the Mass is the Miracle which takes place - the bread and wine is transformed into the body and blood of Christ, Jesus asked us to, "Do This In Memory of Me." I get comfort, peace, healing and strength from receiving Holy Communion every week, it's wonderful!
