“We deny that Jesus died in any way, shape, or form for the non-elect, though they are blessed with certain temporal benefits because of Christ’s death.” (jerry slate) This is a direct quote from “The Doctrine and Distinctives of Berean Baptist Church” that the so-called pastor (jerry slate) has written. They believe God choose them (elected) and anyone that is not a reform/calvinist is a non-elect with no chance of salvation and is elected by God for hell and for all eternity for his pleasure. (john calvin) This is a cult formed from the false man-made doctrine of the murderer (john calvin). They have picked up the tulip to follow john calvin instead of picking up the cross and following Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that Jesus died for ALL, not just for the calvinist / reform elect. John 3: 16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Please BEWARE of any church calling themselves reform or calvinist! Most of the time they will hide the fact and keep it from their church name as this group does. Very deceiving! “You DO NOT become a calvinist by reading the Bible, you become a calvinist by reading other books.” I definitely do not recommend this gathering place. I would not call it a church!
