My husband and I have been snowbirds for seven years. The first few years we tried different places. The hardest thing to find is a church that preaches the Word and makes you feel welcome. Starting in 2016-2017 we wintered in Frostproof. We visited a couple churches but the first time we visited Emmanuel Baptist, we knew we had found a home. Pastor Larry is a dynamic preacher and his alter call, well...WOW! Pastor John leads the best adult Sunday School I've ever attended. If you don't know the Lord and how to get saved, you will after you attend this church. Also, each year we go back we feel like we are coming home.
