Teddy Natter, a lifelong New Haven county resident, was raised as a Roman Catholic. Teddy was raised by his mother, a single parent, but he tragically lost her to cancer when he was a young teen. He soon experienced both emotional and sexual abuse. This pain led to a life of drugs and crime. For thirty years Teddy was in and out of prison and other institutions. During a brief period of sobriety, he successfully built a business and started a family. All was lost, including a relationship with his son, when Teddy turned back to his old life. In 2013, Teddy surrendered his life over to Jesus Christ and committed to eighteen months of discipleship training at The 180 Center. After completing the program , the Lord directed Teddy to stay at the center as volunteer staff. Today he serves in the building of our public relations and media department. In addition Teddy manages one of our Christian men’s sober houses in New Haven. email: the180center@gmail.com
